View source for Linear Regression Model Trees for Electric Load Forecasting

My name is Abby Martin and my research mentor is Dr. Richard Povinelli. This research project will work off of the M5P method for creating linear regression model trees to test this method of modeling against various other model and various forms of linear regression model trees. These models will be applied to the task of forecasting electric loads and will attempt to decide if linear regression model trees are better for forecasting than the currently used systems. This research will be conducted in the GasDay lab and is hoped to benefit the GasDay project.
