Goals and Milestones


Week 1:

  • Complete the education module “The Biology and Mathematics of Food Webs”
  • Enter the title, description, and milestones/goals into the Wiki
  • Search for current papers on graph theory and economics or competition graphs and economics
  • Prepare initial findings for meeting with Dr. Factor on Monday, 6/8
    • Combine the abstracts of the papers that have been found and come up with talking points about how to narrow down my topic and proceed efficiently with my research

Week 2:

  • Meetings/Important Dates:
    • Meet with Dr. Factor on Monday, 6/8, to discuss initial findings
    • Participate in talk and luncheon on Thursday, 6/11
      • Discuss accomplishments and difficulties so far

    • Find a way to draw a small food web on the computer and find a way to import it into the LaTeX manuscript
