About me

My name is Ross Bravo and I am a senior studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Marquette University. My mentor for the Summer 2020 REU is Dr. Aleksandra Snowden and our research is Association between crime, places, and neighborhood characteristics.

Outside of research is that I am a very involved student. I am the president of Marquette's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the U.S. honorary national mathematics society. I sing with and am the assistant music director of the Naturals, the all guys A Cappella group on campus. During the school year I work as a tour guide for perspective students and as a Math tutor for the Educational Opportunity Program in Milwaukee. I also run hurdles for Marquette's Division 1 track team. I am also a member of German club and the Tabletop/RPG gaming club. In my free time I enjoy running, playing video games with friends, going out for Japanese food, and playing piano.
